If the environment is musty and stuffy the ventilation is probably inadequate.
Carbon dioxide metres can be used. If there is a build up of carbon dioxide then that is indicative of poor ventilation. If the carbon dioxide level is less than 1,000 parts per million then that suggests that the ventilation is good. If it’s bigger than 1,500 parts per million it’s probably inadequate.
